HSE Policy Statement

Lamasco Civil & Construction recognizes that health, safety, and environmental stewardship are paramount to sustainable operational excellence. We hold ourselves to the highest standards across every construction site, civil works installation, and project facility we operate.

1. Zero Harm Objective

We are dedicated to achieving zero workplace injuries, fatalities, and occupational illnesses. Safety is not a negotiable priority but a core organizational value embedded in every stage of project planning and execution.

2. Legislative Compliance

Our operations strictly comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993, the Construction Regulations 2014, the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA), and all applicable municipal by-laws across South Africa.

3. Risk Management & Hazard Identification

Before commencing any works, comprehensive site-specific Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Safe Work Procedures are prepared. Continuous monitoring, daily toolbox talks, and mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) enforcement are conducted on every site.

4. Environmental Stewardship

We minimize our ecological footprint through responsible waste management, stormwater run-off protection, erosion prevention, spill prevention protocols, and sustainable material procurement.

5. Uncompromised Site Safety & Right to Pause Works

All engineering works and subcontracts are strictly conditional upon uninterrupted, safe site access and full client compliance with occupational safety protocols. In alignment with our terms of quotation, Lamasco Civil & Construction explicitly reserves the right to pause or cancel works should safety standards, regulatory compliance, or hazardous conditions on site be compromised.
